Warrior Squares

Warrior Squares are a free-form audio-visual collective based in Hastings & St. Leonards-on-Sea that have been making improvised music together since 2009. The band consists of Geoff Leigh, Paul Gardner, Nick Weekes, and James Weaver. They combine electronics, instrumentation, and found objects in a heady brew. Geoff Leigh was a founding member of Henry Cow and has recently been in Japan playing with The Artaud Beats and also with Makoto Kawabata of Acid Mothers Temple. Nick Weekes records as Ted Versicolor, plays bass with the band this machine and has collaborated on a wide range of art, film and dance projects. Paul Gardner records as Idle Potentiate, hsk71 and The Astral Lodge. James Weaver records as Saxon Chambers, has co-written music for dance films and promotes the AxonoxA series of irregular events in St. Leonards-on-Sea. Warrior Squares will be working alongside Daniel Hignell in the Forever Bunker
